“European Project Semester-EPS”

Mobility programme for engineering with two calls per year (1st semester and 2nd semester). It is organised by the University HTW des Saarlandes, partner of the University of Vigo in Saarbrucken (Germany).

Characteristics of the programme

The IPS is a mobility programme for engineering. It lasts 18 weeks and combines a 13-week stay in a company in the Saarland region of Germany (4 days per week) with a technical subject taught at the university (1 day per week).

The IPS also includes Project management/team building, Intercultural communication, and German preparatory courses during weeks 1 to 3.

It has two calls per year:

1st semester: stays from October to February.

Deadline for applications: April 20th. The applications shall be sent to the vice-dean for international relations of the School as indicated in the procedure below.

2nd semester: stays from March to July.

Deadline for applications: October 20th. The applications shall be sent to the vice-dean for international relations of the School as indicated in the procedure below.

Submission of applications

Students interested in participating in the IPS must complete this form (DOCX, PDF e ODT) and send it by email to the International Coordinator of the EEI before the date specified in each call for applications.

The form must be sent from an e mail address belonging to the domain @alumnos.uvigo.es.

The application forms will be sent to the HTW des Saarlandes through the International Relations Office of UVigo..

The student selection will take place at the partner university, which will communicate by e-mail to the applicants their acceptance or exclusion from the IPS.

Financial support options

The IPS is compatible with an Erasmus-internships scholarship.

The letter of pre-acceptance which must be submitted together with the application or in the period of correction must be requested from the HTW des Saarlandes.
