Artigo 32. COMMITMENT TO SUPERVISION

The functions of supervision, guardianship and monitoring of the students will be reflected in a supervision commitment. Said commitment will be signed by a specific representation designated by the university, the tutor and the doctoral student, within a maximum period of one month from the date of enrollment, and the signature of the supervisor will be incorporated at the time of his/her designation. This supervision commitment will be incorporated into the document of activities of the doctoral student at the time of its signature by all the people involved.

The supervision commitment will specify the academic relationship between the doctoral student and the university, his/her rights and duties, which will include the possible intellectual and / or industrial property rights derived from the research, as well as the acceptance of the conflict resolution procedure. and its duration. The duties of the person (s) who supervise and tutor the thesis will also be included.

Artigo 31. RESEARCH PLAN

Before six months, which will be counted from the date of enrollment, the doctoral student will prepare a research plan that will include the methodology used and the objectives to be achieved, as well as the means and time planning to achieve it. The plan will be presented and endorsed with the report of the supervisor and tutor, in addition to being approved by the CAPD. This plan can be improved and detailed in the annual evaluation process with the endorsement of the tutor and the supervisor.

Each year the CAPD will supervise the research plan and the activities document, and will provide for the supervision of the reports that the tutor and the supervisor will issue for this purpose. A positive evaluation will be an essential requirement to continue in the program. In the case of a negative evaluation, which will be duly motivated, the doctoral student will be evaluated again within six months, for which a new research plan will be drawn up. In the event of a new negative evaluation, it will cause a permanent withdrawal from the program.

Failure to comply with the deadline for submitting the research plan carries with it the archive of the enrolment file. The aforementioned archive of the enrolment file will be transformed into a permanent withdrawal if the research plan is not presented after the course in which it would have to be presented.

Artigo 30. DOCUMENTATION OF DOCTORATE ACTIVITIES

Once each doctoral student is enrolled in the program, the personalized activities document will be materialized for the purposes of individualized registration. In it, all activities of interest for the development of the doctoral student will be registered according to what the doctoral school establishes and will be supervised annually by the CAPD.

Said document must conform to the established format, register in the computer application and have a documentary proof that the activities carried out by the doctoral student have been effectively carried out.

 The doctoral student will have access to the doctoral student activities document to record and update the activities carried out in the context of the program. His/her records will be validated by the corresponding academic body after the assessment of the tutor and the supervisor, after verification by the administration of the authenticity / veracity of the alleged merits, if applicable.

The doctoral student, his tutor, his thesis supervisor, as well as the people who participate in the evaluation and management of the file will have access to the document of doctoral activities.
