Before six months from the date of enrollment in the doctoral program, the student must prepare a Research Plan that will include the methodology to be used and the objectives to be achieved, as well as the means and time planning to achieve them. This plan must be presented and endorsed with a report from the Supervisor / s and the Tutor and must be approved by the Academic Commission.
Annually the Academic Commission will evaluate the Research Plan and the Activities Document. The evaluation will be an essential requirement to continue in the doctoral program. In the case of negative evaluation, which will be duly motivated, the student must be evaluated again within a period of six months, for which a new Research Plan will be drawn up. In the event of a new negative evaluation, the student will permanently be withdrawn from the doctoral program.
This Doctoral Program establishes the following rules for the approval of Research Plans:
- The Research Plan must contain a Doctoral Thesis topic as well as a summary of the original research that is intended to be carried out.
- The Research Plan must contain a work and training plan distributed temporarily.
- The Research Plan must establish the Supervisor/s of the Doctoral Thesis.
